Sports4Fun is a collaborative initiative developed under the framework of a European Union project. The project brings together four dedicated partners from different countries, each responsible for leading a specific work package. This structure ensures efficient coordination, balanced responsibilities, and a comprehensive approach to promoting active and healthy lifestyles across Europe.

MediaSport

MEDIA ŠPORT, a Slovenian non-profit organization, unites children, youth, and adults across 10 countries through six innovative sports projects. Engaging over 10,000 participants yearly, they promote active lifestyles, social inclusion, and sustainability while fostering intercultural dialogue.

Their team of 120 experts and volunteers drives events like Šport in Špas and Žogarija. Recognized by UEFA, the Slovenian Ministry of Education, and the Olympic Committee, MEDIA ŠPORT supports disadvantaged youth via 404 scholarships through its Pismo srca foundation. For the past 8 years, they are also actively involved in different Erasmus+ Sport initiatives.

Media Sport is responsible for Work Package 1 – Project Management and Coordination, overseeing the overall execution of the project, ensuring effective communication, financial management, and timely reporting among all partners.

Kinitiko Ergastiri

KINITIKO ERGASTIRI is a non-profit sport association based in Ilioupoli, Athens, Greece, dedicated to adapted physical activity, inclusive recreation, and social empowerment for individuals with disabilities. With a team of skilled professionals, it designs programs promoting independence, well-being, and equal opportunities. The organization collaborates with the Municipality of Ilioupoli, works with university students in adapted physical education, and is a member of the Hellenic Sport Federation for Persons with Disabilities.

Participation in Erasmus+ initiatives fosters innovative methodologies, inclusive sports practices, and sustainability. Committed to breaking barriers, it drives positive change through knowledge, experience, and collaboration across local, national, and international levels.

Kinitiko Ergastiri oversees Work Package 3 – Healthy Lifestyle Program, developing educational content, organising workshops, and coordinating inclusive sports events that promote physical and mental well-being.

ISIG

ISIG believes in a future of peaceful relations, where differences are recognized as valuable resources that enrich society. The Institute studies and promotes transformations within societies to foster peaceful and lasting coexistence, with a strong focus on democratic participation, human rights, and the rule of law.

ISIG is committed to promoting and supporting community innovation through scientific and social research, co-design, and strategic consultancy. The Institute fosters the sustainable development of communities, participatory governance, and disaster risk management and reduction, contributing to the creation of inclusive and resilient societies.

ISIG fulfills its mission by designing and managing projects, delivering continuous training, and strengthening capacity-building efforts. It provides professionals, public bodies, and private entities with tools and knowledge to address global and local challenges with attentiveness, efficiency, and responsibility.

ISIG collaborates with the Council of Europe as a scientific advisor, developing and implementing programs and practical tools to enhance the capacities of local, regional, and national authorities, also supporting public administration reform processes.

ISIG leads WP2 – General Analysis of the Current Situation, conducting in-depth research to understand the obstacles and opportunities in promoting healthy lifestyles across partner countries.

Necmettin Erbakan University

Necmettin Erbakan University (NEÜ) is a dynamic and growing public university located in Konya, a city with a deep-rooted scientific and cultural heritage. As a multidisciplinary institution, NEÜ offers education across a wide spectrum of fields from medicine and basic sciences to social sciences and engineering aiming to nurture future generations who are not only academically equipped but also guided by strong moral and spiritual values.

The university comprises 20 faculties, 8 vocational schools, 4 graduate institutes, a School of Foreign Languages, a Turkish Music Conservatory, 28 research centres, and 8 coordination offices, forming a comprehensive academic and research ecosystem. Committed to global engagement, NEÜ emphasises internationalisation as a key strategic priority. NEÜ manages Work Package 4 – Dissemination and Visibility, focusing on communication strategies, social media presence, and organising events to ensure the project’s reach, visibility, and long-term impact.
